Finance Director (Pro Bono)

The Midlands Mental Health Alliance is seeking a senior finance professional to join our board on a pro bono basis. As we grow, sound financial governance is critical — and we need someone who can bring real expertise to our leadership team. What the role involves: - Attend quarterly board meetings (Birmingham or hybrid) - Review management accounts and budgets with our CEO - Advise on financial risk, reserves policy, and charity-sector reporting requirements - Support the board in understanding financial implications of strategic decisions - Approximately 4 hours per month including meeting time We are particularly keen to hear from those with experience of charity financial management or governance, though candidates from the private sector who are willing to learn the charity context will also be considered warmly.
